I came across this great little site for the Chandler Bike Path. Very fun.
I got the house leased over the weekend. The tenant really got the charm and unique quality of the house even though it's half way through. It's going to be a great place to live.
okay, everyone keeps asking me what did you see in this house? Now you know. As a kid Palm Springs was a second home. My parents had a house in the desert and I would love seeing this gas station at the entrance to PS as it meant the long two hour ride was finally over.
The tramway gas station is now a Historic Landmark and is a visitor center. It was saved from demo in 2002 and restored to its original glory.
Much like my shack on Chandler will be!
The first two pics are the ceilings. After caulking (first pic), Scott then finished off with a beautiful white gloss. *sigh* Ceilings that are as beautiful as the Sistine Chapel!
The third pic is the kitchen, without the wallpaper and the beat appliances. Looks better already.
The plumber, Noel finished in one day with all the copper plumbing. He'll come back to install fixtures.
Congratulations on leasing the house! It just goes to show you can trust your instincts. I'm really happy for you.... read more
